Labour’s Jobs Guarantee is already helping young people into work, with the first participants having recently started jobs created through the new programme aimed at tackling long-term youth unemployment.
Backed by leading employers including Boots and OCS, the scheme will create more than 90,000 fully funded jobs by 2029 as part of Labour’s £2.5 billion plan to expand opportunity.
The programme has received a further boost with Sainsbury’s announcing 10,000 work experience opportunities from October, giving young people valuable skills and experience to help launch their careers.
By connecting young people with jobs, training and work experience, Labour is delivering on our promise to break barriers to opportunity and build a stronger futures.
