Proud to come from a very socialist family, born in Eastbourne and raised in Hailsham. I sat on Hailsham Town Council as a member of the Labour Party at the age of 18 and unfortunately had to step down from this role when I moved to Eastbourne. I would love to be able to see Labour members on Eastbourne Town Council and will campaign actively to help achieve this. I feel passionately about protecting our NHS, our welfare state and fighting sexism, and discrimination. Women have been under represented throughout politics and I believe that it is time for all women to have their voices heard as their contributions are invaluable to politics.
