I feel that I have the credentials to fulfil the role of Labour candidate in the forthcoming local elections, and indeed, if elected, as a councillor. Having resided in the Ratton ward for 26 years, I have an understanding of the needs of residents in the area, including transport, policing, education and libraries. This council has cut services to the bone and, post-Covid, our amenities will be under even more threat. Eastbourne is in need of Labour councillors who would reverse the cuts and fight to improve living conditions for every Ratton resident.
