Eastbourne Labour Party Eastbourne Labour Party
Langney – ESCC Election 2021
Graham Dean
I am very pleased to be chosen to represent the Labour Party in Langney ward, Eastbourne for the County Council election on Thursday, 6 May 2021.
I have been a Party member for over 40 years and was a local Councillor in LB Croydon for 4 years. I am committed to supporting the democratic structures of the party and the election of progressive candidates to reverse the years of mismanagement, waste and austerity inflicted on the most vulnerable by the Tories and supported by the Liberal Democrats. Ensuring there are decent jobs, high quality public services and strong local businesses is the way forward for our communities. NOT more austerity.
During these difficult times campaigning will need to be more tailored to social media, telephone contacts and leaflets. Maximising postal voting will be crucial and helping our supporters to get their votes in will be hugely important.
I look forward to campaigning with members and supporters in Langney to make Labour a stronger force for positive change in the future.

“It was great having Covid safe chats with Eastbornians in the sun. As a Labour candidate for the County Council elections I believe it’s time to change the Tory/Lib Dem stranglehold and elect candidates who believe in decent public services for all those in need. No more privatisation that just gives money to companies who provide sub standard services and terrible wages.”
